Every brand should tell a great story. Ours started with, “Two guys walk into a bar…”
Admittedly not the most original beginning, but before long one of my best friends and I were camping at trade shows, buying blenders larger than our torsos, and importing bottles from overseas by the container load. And it did in fact all begin with a conversation over a beer at a long-gone favourite haunt of ours called the Crooked Star.
My roles include branding, sales, importing of goods and equipment, general business activities, production planning, recipe formulation, etc etc. That’s the fun of being an entrepreneur!
UPDATE: As of 2023, we’re scaling back operations on account of ongoing supply chain and inflation challenges - doing limited runs as opposed to pursuing aggressive growth.
