CBC Advertising Projects

The Challenge

It was originally one challenge - to rebrand CBC Newsworld and raise its profile from a “boring news channel” to a must-watch information destination. The success of that first campaign led to numerous other freelance projects across the CBC universe - Radio, Sports, Comedy, Specials, and more. The biggest highlight? Perhaps the two-minute phone message from Ken Finkleman praising my work on promoting The Newsroom. It was one of my favourite shows at that time.

My Role

Creative lead. Campaign ideation. Copywriting.

The Current on CBC Radio One - “Some Pictures Need A Thousand Words”

This award-winning campaign aimed to highlight what radio - and CBC Radio in particular - does best: paint the full picture behind complex stories in a way that goes far beyond what short articles and news clips can accomplish.
